Finding America: Crack in the Amor

Bruce LComment

…that was dramatic.

1am. Floor has a stream of water. Under the bench seat- it’s obvious. A leaking pex pipe. It’s a known weak link in the armor. Planned for. Ready… not quite. A few hours later after scouring Facebook groups, YouTube videos and dumping the water tank, I retreated back to base camp (home) at 4am to crash in a warm bed. I knew I should take care of this now- fix and stock up on parts I meant to get earlier. Tomorrow would not be as planned. I was hoping for an early start from a stealth camping location and in the AM hike near Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. I have had little time this Summer to get out and hike with this trip prep. And now I know my days here are counting down. Test run complete. It was only a “test” run. 1st world problem.

By end of the following day, end of day, I finally have my plumbing supplies. A quick tip from a friend prompts a nearby RV dealer drive by. A huge shout out to Craig at HillsRV in Conway, NH for wrapping up the project!

Just more prep before a Fall launch.

THIS IS NOT THE END.
