Out of the Sierras and east to the Grand Tetons.
More challenging hikes. I found 2 hikes I wanted to do. The first to Gem Lake, then over to Surprise and Amphitheater Lakes. All situated at the foot of the Teton range with glaciers above. The second hike was a long 17+ mile out and back to Lake Solitude. I find being able to spend time walking into these amazing places a great way to really get a deeper sense of the land and animals. I saw bison and moose on this trip.
